Osmar Jimenez
GSM Academy Coach Guatemala
Osmar Jimenez is one of our GSM Guatemala Academy Coaches and responsible for working in weekly training sessions in several communities in Guatemala City. Osmar is certified with a GSM International Coaching Level I and II courses, trained by UW Sports Ministry Bible based soccer camp courses. He has completed his Level Two Guatemalan Football Federation Coaching License and is working on Level Two. He has been on our outreach summer camps staff. Osmar is a Christian who sees GSM making a difference in the lives of youth in Guatemala.
Gerardo Danilo Noriega gómez
GSM Academy Coach Guatemala
Danilo Noriega is one of our GSM Guatemala Academy Coaches and responsible for working in weekly training sessions in several communities in Guatemala City. Danilo is certified with a GSM International Coaching Level I and II courses, trained by UW Sports Ministry Bible based soccer camp courses. He has completed his Level TwoGuatemalan Football Federation Coaching License and is working on Level Two. He has been on our outreach summer camps staff. Danilo is a Christian who sees GSM making a difference in the lives of youth in Guatemala. Danilo believes the Holy Spirit has been working a lot in his life and has shown him that I should continue serving with MiGloFut (GSM Guatemalan base organization). We praise the Lord for DN.
John Banta and Amy Banta
Director of Development & Soccer Operations
John and Amy Banta, along with their three children - Hope, Luke, and Titus, have joined the GSM team. In 2007, they completed a year of language school in Costa Rica, furthering their preparations for cross-cultural mission work.
John serves as Director of Soccer Operation and be responsible to the planning and growing of GSM Soccer programs and staff development. John graduated from Liberty University in 1991 with a degree in Sports Management and Recreation. He had played soccer in high school and has coached and worked extensively with youth sports and adult recreation leagues; as well as having been involved with camp ministry focused on inner-city children. John is a GSM certified coach with a Level II certificate.
Amy, a graduate of Grand Valley State University in the fields of elementary education and Spanish, has taught and worked with inner-city children's ministries. She has a passion for educational development and discipleship. Amy is involved helping administrate GSM Soccer Activities and Program and is teach English as a second language to our GSM Guatemalan Coaching staff.
John and Amy desire to see young and old alike grow and excel in all areas of their lives. Both enjoy encouraging and motivating others, but their hearts' calling is to nurture others to a deeper personal relationship with Christ through discipleship.

Victor Pereira
Director of Player Development
Victor, whoi hold a level 3 Guatemalan Football Federation Coaching License is directing all player development with Guatemala City for all our travel teams from the many GSM Guatemala Academy programs we operated. These are selected players who are capable one day of moving to a much higher level of play into the professional or university ranks. Team ages are U12, 14, 16 and 18 play in league play in Guatemala. He and his GSM coaching staff are responsible for the spiritual development of all their players as well.
Miguel Vielman
Coordinator of Soccer Operations
Miguel has recently been hired for the development of our football academies and the pre-organizational work for our new s turf soccer complex.
Miguel had a BS degree in Physical Education, a back ground in sports administration, coaching and youth ministry. We are very pleased to have Miguel join the GSM Guatemala Team.
