Course Schedule:

• 3 days or 25 - 30 hours of daily field work and evening lectures
• First Day 6-9:30 PM and 8:00AM to 9:00 PM Daily
• Sessions will start on time and all coaches are to be at all sessions to receive a certificate

Course Certification:

• Advanced Coaching Level 1 Certificate GSM International Coaching (this is a non licensed course)

• Baris Johnson – GSM Level 3 Coach and Director of Football for GSM Jamaica/ JFF Level 1
• Reggie Pierre Jerome – USSF and NSCAA Goalkeeper Coach. Ex-professional

• Lecture on Anaerobic-Match Muscular Fitness for the Youth and Senior Player

• Lecture on Player Warm-up and Warm-downs (Types of warm-ups, warming down and why)

Attacking Football in Small Sided Games

• Vision and communication
• Serving
• Receiving
• Running with or without the football
• Creating and Supporting Attacking Space
• Supporting the Player with the football in Attack
• Attacking into Space behind Opposing Players
• Checking players away to create space in Attack
• Shooting and Finishing
• Playing Speed as and Individual and Team Speed


Football Techniques for the Field Player and Raising Player Skill Playing Levels through Small Sided Games

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM – Field Work


Defending in Small Sided Games

• Vision and communication from Individually to Partnership-sharing the correct information to win the balls
• Coverage with Pressure, Pressure and Zone and Zonal with Pressure only in your final Defending Zone
• Individual Defending as a Forward, Midfielder and Back
• In groups of 2, 3 and 4 players
• Appropriately closing down an opponent
• Defending on your feet
• Tackling the last resort
