GSM INTERNATIONAL GOES TO GUYANA SOUTH AMERICA

Paul Banta, Founder and President of Global Soccer Ministries, has been appointed by the Guyana Football Federation as their newest staff addition in preparation for the Men's U23 Olympic CONCACAF round one matches. Paul was invited by the President of the Guyana Foobtall Federation and Vice President of the Caribbean Footall Union, Colin Klass. The purpose for the invitation to was to have Paul assist in football development for Guyana to prepare this team as they will be playing Aruba and Cuba's teams at the end of June in Havana.

Paul is as a Technical Football Advisor, will be planning training sessions, work with the national coaching staff to impliment a higher level of match play both tactically and football fitness wise and work with the players as all prepare for these important matches.

If they are successful the U23 team will play a round two of matches later in late September or October against the likes of Haiti, Jamaica, Trinada/Tobago or another winning side. If the U23 Guyana Olympic team wins this round they will be representing the Caribbean in the final CONCACAF round of matches held in the USA in the Spring of 2012 for the 2012 Olympic games to be played in London England next summer. That series of matches will be teams from Central America, one Caribbean team, Mexico, Canada and the USA and 2 teams will go to the UK.

What we're doing in Guyana is about serving (in a different way) the Lord and that would be appreciated as we go ahead for what the Lord will do through representing this soccer ministry for the Guyana Football Federation and the people of Guyana".
