COASTFA.COM PARTNERS WITH GSM JAMAICAWHAT – COAST FA IS NOW IN JAMAICA?
"We are pleased to support the work Global Soccer Ministries is doing in Jamaica", said Paul Benik, Founder of CFA. "It's a worth while program and we'll be giving more uniforms in the future".
This past Fall of 2008 GSM Jamaica received a very large donation of uniforms from Coast FA as they partner with our “Help GSM Help Them Program”, providing needs soccer gear to needy at risk youth in Kingston Jamaica, and Guatemala City.
CFA is the large area soccer club on the Grand Strand in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina. They boast a state wide and region wide club travel program and the largest and most organized recreation program on the Grand Strand and it growing strong. The also have a very strong development academy program allowing players and families to make the transition from recreational soccer to travel soccer.
One of the main sponsors of CFA is the area wide Mc Donald organization. As they have assisted CFA in many areas one is specific area is uniforms and this is where GSM Jamaica has benefited. GMS received uniforms and will continue receiving this help.
“We are beyond grateful”, said Paul Banta. Banta who is the President and Founder of Global Soccer Ministries International, a non for profit soccer organization that uses the passion of the game of soccer and the passion of the cross to changes the life on 100’s of youth world wide. With programs having been in Romania since 2003 and now in Guatemala and Jamaica, GSM International is looks to expand GSM Academies in Haiti and Mexico in the days ahead.
“Without the gifts of programs like Coast FA we simply could make it. These types of donations are so useful and the kids feel like young professionals when they put on their gear. Thank God for CFA and Mc Donald’s”, indicated Banta.
